Madison <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> Re: Proposed San Joaquin Elementary School <br /> 2020 Fresno Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> To Whom It May Concern: <br /> This letter will indicate Health Department approval of plans for the proposed "San Joaquin <br /> Elementary School" subject to the following conditions ' <br /> 1. Provide well fitting, self-closing doors to all toilet rooms. CURFFL 114105 <br /> 2. Provide enclosed light fixtures (shatterproof shields) over all areas where food is prepared, or/ <br /> stored in open containers or utensils are cleaned. CURFFL 114170 <br /> 3. Provide a designated area for employees personal effects separated from toilets, food storage, <br /> food prep, and utensil washing areas. CURFFL 114135 <br /> 4. The floor surfaces in all areas in which food is prepared, packaged, open food storage, utensil <br /> washing areas, refuse storage, janitorial areas, and all restrooms and employee change areas <br /> shall be smooth and of durable construction and nonabsorbent material which is easily <br /> cleaned. These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the floor and wall with a three- <br /> eighths (3/8) inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at least four (4) <br /> inches. Rubber or vinyl top set base is not permitted in these areas. CURFFL 114150 <br /> 5. Walls and ceilings of all rooms (except for bar areas, areas where food is stored in unopened / <br /> containers, dining areas, and offices) shall be of a durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light ✓ <br /> colored, and washable surface. The walls behind and adjacent to sinks and dish tables should <br /> be covered with durable waterproof material that extends from the top of the coved base to <br /> twelve (12) inches above the back splash.
