All facility communications or alarm <br />systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall <br />be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this <br />practice. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />Two black metal 55 gallon drums of used oil were observed without an accumulation start date. This was corrected <br />on site. One white plastic 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze was observed without an accumulation start date. This <br />was corrected on site. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required information. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />608 <br />CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br />One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was observed without an accumulation start date. The last <br />available disposal record for drained used oil filters was dated 5/10/17. Facilities that generate up to one ton of <br />used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil <br />filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a <br />copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by February 28, 2019. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in -office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
