Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately Noncompliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents,Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed about 6 or 7 flies in kitchen, some hovering over food(salsa and chopped onions). <br /> Immediately provide more pest control (non-toxic only), and close doors or provide screen to deny access to flying insects. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of Vemrin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches, flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br /> OBSERVATIONS:No lids on several containers of food (salsa, cooked vegetables);therefore open to flying insects.
