SAN 10 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department
C (-)U 'j I '11,
Complaint Record Daily Time and Activity Summary from 1/3/2018 to
1/3/2019 for COMBPSGNB located at
STOCKTON GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, 3800 W.
COUNTRY CLUB BLVD. STOCKTON, CA 95204
Activity Date Recorded by
08/07/2018 Received complaint from Elianna. I would have to follow up for night response. PE 2546 ALANIZ
30 min Received call from Nathan Baker at 4:40 p.m. I asked what the pH was of the SC 544
solution. He replied 14. Discussed disposal method. He wanted to cover
everything with absorbent and let the trash company pick it up as non hazardous
waste.
Discussed with Garrett. Told Nathan that he could not do that. He decided to take
the liquid out and dispose of it as hazardous waste.
Started to prepare for site visit.
08/07/2018 Left for the site at 5:15 p.m. and arrived at 5:25 p.m. Met with Nathan Baker from PE 2546 ALANIZ
72 min Patriot Environmental. He said that they had dumped a lot of citric acid on the SC 944
liquid and that the pH would not go down.
Time for first part of clean-up 5-6:12 p.m.
Received a PG&E call from 6:12-6:18 p.m.
08/07/2018 After PG&E call ended. Final clean-up was witnessed from 6:18-6:48 p.m. PE 2546 ALANIZ
30 min SC 944
Two 55 gallon barrels of waste was drained, Nathan applied a lot of citric acid
(spraying the walls and the liquid) and brought the pH down to 7. 1 had Nathan
check the pH twice.
He put a waste analysis pending sticker on the drums. He said he needed to
discuss it first with his company to make the determination.
Two 55 gallon drums of solid waste and two 55 gallon drums of liquid waste were
produced from the incident. The were closed and secured near the trash
compactor.
Spoke with the manage (Dave). I informed him that he needed to send EHD the
final disposal manifests.
Side note: while cleaning out the trash compactor, a 5 gallon bucket labeled
sodium hydroxide was found.
