A sixth boring would extend to a depth of <br /> approximately 80 feet. Boring locations will be selected based <br /> on the results of the soil gas survey and previous soil and <br /> groundwater sampling at the site. OSA is responsible for the <br /> disposal of all soil cuttings. WCC will assist GSA's removal of <br /> these materials, if desired. <br /> 4) Soil Sampling_ <br /> Soil samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals in each <br /> boring down to a depth of approximately ,i•4O feet, where it is <br /> anticipated that groundwater will occur While' drilling. A WCC <br /> geologist will log samples from each bor"Ing according to the <br /> Uniform <br /> Soils Classification System andilabel the samples for <br /> transport to the laboratory. <br /> Our estimated budget for this work is summarized+ in the enclosed table. <br /> PROJECT PERSONNEL <br /> J <br /> Michael S. Bonkowski , a certified engineering geo�{ logist in California, <br /> is the Project Manager. Mr. Bonkowski has over eight.1years experience <br /> in aroundwa r <br /> g to geology and hazardous waste. He will be responsible <br /> for the technical contact and timely completion of the report and the <br /> maintenance of schedule and budget. <br /> j Mr. Dan Baden, a senior staff geologist, will conduct the field <br /> activities. He will be responsible for the day-to-day field activities. <br /> Mr. George Ford, a project geologist and certified engineering <br /> geologist, will direct the project. He will be responsible for the <br /> day-to-day activities. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> WCC will initiate work on the project within five days of your <br /> h authorization to proceed.
