laboratory within approximately 48-hours of collection <br /> 7 Purged water was contained in a DOT approved 55-gallon drum The drum was <br /> labeled with the contents, date, well number, client name, and project number <br />' The groundwater monitoring purge logs are presented in Appendix B <br /> 3 3 LABORATORY ANALYSIS AND RESULTS <br /> Seven groundwater samples were submitted for analyses to Centrum Analytical of <br /> Redlands, California, a State of California-certified hazardous waste analytical laboratory <br />' The samples were analyzed by the following methods <br /> EPA 8015 modified - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-G) <br />' o EPA 8015 modified - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Diesel (TPH-D) <br /> EPA 8020 - Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and total Xylenes (BTEX), and Methyl <br /> Tertiary Butyl Ether(MTBE) <br /> o EPA 8260 - Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether <br /> (MTBE) <br /> Additionally, Tertiary Butyl Alcohol (TBA), Di-Isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl Tertiary Butyl <br /> Ether (ETRE), and Tertiary Methyl Ether (TAME) were analyzed EPA Method 8260 <br /> detected none of these compounds <br /> A summary of the laboratory results for groundwater samples is presented in Table 1 A <br /> copy of the laboratory reports and chain-of-custody records are presented in Appendix C <br /> The following are the results of the groundwater sampling <br /> a Five Wells (MW-9, MW-11, MW-13, MW-16, and MW-20) were inaccessible due to <br /> construction activities at the site <br />' o TPH-G concentrations were detected in two of the seven groundwater samples (VM-1 <br /> [1,000], and VM-2 [4,200 pg/1]) <br />' o One of the groundwater samples analyzed contained detectable concentrations of <br /> TPH-D (VM-2 [730 pg/1]) <br />' o Benzene concentrations were detected in six of seven groundwater wells sampled <br /> (MW-12 [2 0 pg/1], MW-14 10 9 pg/1], MW-24 [0 9 pg/11, MW-25 [18 pg/1], VM-1 [82 pg/1], <br />' VM-2 [510 pg/1] Figure 3 presents benzene concentrations over time for Wells MW- <br /> 14, VM-1, and VM-2 <br /> Gasoline related volatile organic compounds were reported for all groundwater <br /> samples in the EPA Method 8260 analysis this quarter <br /> \Tp'A"3FER\PRQIECT\CALTYD,7 71017\Sn JPSO\QM4S2F 11 DOC <br />
