Advancement of one direct push CPT boring to delineate the vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> contamination in groundwater. The boring will be advanced to 100-feet bsg;depth discrete groundwater <br /> samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals beginning at fust encountered groundwater. <br /> 2. Up to 20 discrete groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg,TPHd,BTEX,and fuel oxygenates by approved <br /> EPA Methods listed in the work plan,as well as for other aromatic and halogenated volatile organics and an <br /> elements scan. <br /> 3. Following completion of the sample collections,the boring will be properly destroyed with neat cement grout from <br /> total depth to surface. <br /> 4. A report of findings will be prepared and submitted,to SJC/EHD following completion of the fieldwork. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. A site specific Health&Safety Plan must be submitted to SJC/EHD prior to initiation of fieldwork. <br /> 2.
