ACME TRUCKPARTS I IBM <br />Section Three <br />EMPLOYEE RIGHTS <br />® You have a right to be informed of the hazardous substances in your work place. <br />• You have a right to be informed of the Hazardous Communications law. <br />® You have a right to be informed of the location, availability, and details of the written Hazard <br />Communications program including the MSDS's and the labeling system used by the Company. <br />® You have a right to be trained in the methods and observations that may be used to detect the presence or <br />release of a hazardous substance in the work area. <br />® You have a right to be trained in the physical and health hazards of the substances in the work area and <br />the measures you can take to protect yourself. <br />LIST OF HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES <br />A. Hazardous Materials Inventory <br />An inventory of all known hazardous substances present in each work area will be included in the Hazardous <br />Materials Inventory posted in a conspicuous locality in that area. Specific information on each hazardous substance <br />can be obtained by reviewing the Material Safety Data Sheet in the MEDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) book. <br />A list of all known hazardous substances present in each work area is contained in the MSDS (Material Safety Data <br />Sheet) book in that area. Specific information on each hazardous substance can be obtained by reviewing the Material <br />Safety Data Sheet. <br />Pesticides and herbicides, are covered by other state and federal rules and regulations and therefore are not included in <br />this program. However, the Company has established a separate procedure, which protects employees who come in <br />contact with these chemicals. <br />R. Health Hazard Definitions <br />Any substances which meet any of the following definitions are health hazards: <br />Sensitizers: A substance that causes a substantial proportion of exposed people or animals to develop an <br />allergic reaction in normal tissue after repeated exposure to the substance. <br />
