Hi Stacy,
I have been working with a company called Red Fox on handling our used DPF's as hazardous material,
during a meeting with them they gave us a report that addresses the issues we are having, they hired a 3rd party
company that did testing and proved that the filters do not fall in the hazardous waste category, the ash is
considered hazardous but not till it is cleaned from the filters and in larger quantities, while in the filter it does
not reach the thresholds for California that would make it hazardous, so if you would be kind enough to read
thru the attached report and let me know what you think, ultimately we will do as you ask, but as you said
during the inspection this is new to you and all of us and we want to make sure this is truly necessary before
we follow thru. Thanks again for your time and I will wait to hear from you.
Lance Nunn
Operations Manager
Direct Line: 209-870-2020
Cell: 209-470-2172
CISCO Direct: 88202020
Fax: 209-466-0676
1016 South Wilson Way I Stockton, CA 95205
e-mail: lanunn(a,LKQcorp.com
Visit us on the web @ www.LKQHegvyTruck.com
I*aw L KQ
Heavy Truck
Follow us on Social Media for Info and Discounts
3
