Project No 58100-06-11A <br /> June 29, 1995 <br /> reported by the Caltrans well survey dated October 27, 1993 A copy of the well elevation survey report <br />' is presented in Appendix C <br /> 3 2 5 Disposition of Development Water <br />' Well development water was placed in DOT 17-H 55-gallon drums and stored onsite pending the receipt <br /> of analytical data and subsequent disposal following regulatory protocol <br />' 33 GROUNDWATER SAMPLING <br /> 3 3 1 Groundwater Level Measurement <br /> 1 Depth to groundwater measurements were obtained from all the monitoring wells prior to well purging <br /> Groundwater depth measurements were obtained using a battery operated water level meter with <br />' measurements obtained from the top of each well casings <br /> 3 3 2 Well Purging <br /> Prior to groundwater collection, a minimum of three well volumes of groundwater were purged to allow <br /> fresh formation water to infiltrate the wells During purging, the pH, temperature, and electrical <br /> conductivity of the groundwater was measured and the purging was considered adequate when these <br /> parameters stabilized The groundwater parameters were recorded on the groundwater sample collection <br /> logs presented in Appendix D <br /> t3 3 3 Groundwater Sample Collection <br /> Groundwater samples were collected utilizing disposable polyethylene bailers The samples were placed <br /> in laboratory provided volatile organics analysis{VOA} vials and one-liter amber bottles, labeled, chilled, <br /> and delivered to a California certified analytical laboratory, following standard chain-of-custody <br /> procedures <br /> 3 3 4 Laboratory Analytical Methods <br /> Groundwater samples were transported to Excelchem for testing for TPHg and TPHd following EPA Test <br /> Method 8015 modified, and BTEX following EPA Test Method 8020 <br /> ' 3 3 5 Disposition of Purge Water <br /> Monitoring well purge water was placed in DOT 17-H 55-gallon drums and stored onsite pending the <br /> ' receipt of analytical data and subsequent disposal following regulatory protocol <br /> 7 <br />
