Lab data from the analysis of one sample report a con ntratlon of off and grease(o&g)at IS
ppm (mg/Kg). This Is consistent with the reporting of total recoverable petroleum
hydrocarbons (trph)of 19 ppm. Reporting of diesel at 6.2 ppm is likely related to the
reporting of either o&g and/or trph as carbon fractions,, this range are not easily.
dtfferentlated; ''
2. These detected values do not suggest that more than an Incidental (i.e., kitchen grease,
mechanic s hand washing, etc)amount of petroleum have been introduced Into the septic i
system;
3. The absence of a sheen on water within the septic tank during sampling supports
aforementioned item#2; and
A_ The absence of detected volatile organic compounds (VOCs)fromEPA method 8260 further
supports aforementioned item#2.
Please call me with any questions.
i,
;t
i'
Sincerely,
i F
BLANKINSHIP&ASSOCIATES, INC. { \
Michael S.
