(New West), Closure Solutions, Inc. (Closure Solutions)
' has prepared this Remediation Well Installation Work Plan(Work Plan) for the New West—Flag
City facility, located at 6437 West Banner Street, Lodi, California (the Site, Figure 1). This
Work Plan is being submitted to outline the installation details of the groundwater extraction
wells proposed in the Closure Solutions Feasibility Study report dated March 19, 2008 and the
Final Remediation Plan & Remediation Design (FRP) dated July 14, 2008. The Feasibility
' Study report was approved by the CVRWQCB in a letter dated April 3, 2008.
' 1.0 SITE BACKGROUND
1.1 SITE DESCRIPTION
tThe Site is an operating gasoline service station located on the north side of West Banner Street
within the Flag City commercial center that is located immediately southeast of the Interstate 5
over-crossing of Highway 12. In 1996, Mr. J. Gilbert Moore and Mrs. Eileen A. Moore installed
t the current underground storage tanks (USTs) and the Site has been a fueling facility since that
date. Prior to Mr. and Mrs. Moore's acquisition of the Site, the property was a vacant lot with no
Site improvements. The Site dispenses fuel from two 10,000-gallon gasoline and one 20,000-
gallon diesel USTs located in the southeastern portion of the property. Two fuel dispenser
islands are situated between West Banner Street and the station building. The configuration of
' the facility is shown on Figure 2.
1213 Oak[moll Drive • Concord,CA 94521
' (800) 988-7880
«-aw.C:;oSiirr:tir,lutio n s.coa
