Apex Envirotech, Inc (Apex) has been authorized by New West Stations (New West) to submit <br /> this results report detailing activities for the installation of six groundwater monitoring wells <br /> located on and off the subject site (Figures 1 and 2) All work was conducted in response to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health (SJCEHD) letters, dated July 15, 2005 and July 27, <br /> 2005 (Appendix A) <br /> This report has been developed, in part, on the basis of information obtained by Apex from New <br /> West and is subject to modification as newly acquired information may warrant <br /> CURRENT SITE USE <br /> The site is currently a 1 46 acre parcel with a fueling station, convenience store, and three <br /> underground storage tanks (UST) (one-10,000-gallon premium gasoline, one 10,000-gallon <br /> diesel, and one 20,000-gallon regular gasoline) that dispenses fuel <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> 1996-New West Petroleum installed the current USTs and the site has been a fueling facility <br /> since that date Prior to New West Petroleum acquiring the site, it was a vacant lot with no site <br /> improvements <br /> . The Flag City Chevron located south of the site at 6421 Capitol Avenue had a groundwater <br /> pumping-and-treatment system to remediate the petroleum dissolved phase in groundwater at the <br />
