Page 2 <br /> Medina Wood Products <br /> Soil Work Plan <br /> May 26,2006 <br /> 1.2 Laboratory Analyses <br /> The soil samples will be submitted to Excelchem of Roseville (State Certified Laboratory <br /> #2119) and analyzed for: <br /> ❑ Volatile Organic Compound (VOCs)by EPA method 8260A <br /> ❑ Organochlorine Pesticides (OCPs) by EPA Method 8081A <br /> The detection limits for these compounds are listed below. A Chain of Custody will be <br /> completed for all samples collected and tracked to ensure sample integrity. <br /> Detection Limits: OCPs VOCs <br /> Method 8081A Method 8260A <br /> (mg/Kg) (mg/Kg) <br /> Soil 0.005 ppm 0.005 <br /> 2.0 SCHEDULE & REPORTING <br /> Geological Technics Inc. anticipates beginning fieldwork within a few days of work plan <br /> approval from San Joaquin County. Enclosed with the work plan is the drilling permit and <br /> Master File Record Information Form. The information gathered during this phase of work <br /> will be presented in a report, which will include a summary of the geology as well as the <br /> results of sample analyses. Ray Kablanow, Professional Geologist and Certified <br /> Hydrogeologist will supervise the project. Copies of the report will be forwarded to the <br /> County. <br /> 3.0 SIGNATURE AND CERTIFICATION <br /> This project will be performed by Geological Technics Inc. in accordance with accepted <br /> geologic and hydrologic standards of the State of California accepted and in effect at the time <br /> of this investigation.
