Scott Mansholt -2- 30 March 2006 <br /> Chevron <br /> Lyoth Offsite Investigation <br /> Consequently, in a memorandum to Chevron dated 6 July 2005, Regional Water Board staff requested <br /> that additional borings be advanced further downgradient to collect groundwater samples for analysis to <br /> delineate the extent of groundwater impacts north of the former Lyoth loading station. <br /> The referenced workplan proposes to advance three borings further downgradient with a contingent <br /> boring to be advanced further north if petroleum hydrocarbons are present in soil and/or groundwater. <br /> We concur with the 23 March 2006 workplan proposal. Depending on the results of the fieldwork, <br /> additional borings, monitoring wells and/or sampling may be required. <br /> By 10 July 2006,please submit your report of findings. <br /> Please notify Regional Board staff at least 48 hours prior to commencing the field activities.
