Woods <br /> 14 September 1998 <br /> Page 4 <br /> Task 3 -Conduct Laboratory Analyses <br /> All samples selected for analysis will be delivered with completed chain-of-custody forms to <br /> Excelchem Environmental Labs in Roseville, a State-certified laboratory. Samples will be <br /> analyzed for halogenated hydrocarbons by EPA 8010 with detection limits of 0.005 mg/Kg for soil <br /> samples and 0.5 ug/L for groundwater samples. For budgetary purposes we have included the <br /> following analyses: <br /> Soil Samples(3) -Two from wells and one from hydropunch location <br /> Groundwater Samples (3) -Two from wells and one from hydropunch location <br /> Field Duplicates(1) - One groundwater well <br /> Travel Blank(1) - One groundwater <br /> All samples will be analyzed on a standard 10 working—day turnaround time. <br /> Task 4—Prepare Groundwater Investigation Report <br /> Following completion of the laboratory analyses, a report presenting conclusions regarding the <br /> extent of VOCs present in groundwater at the Tray Facility and the local groundwater gradient and <br /> flow direction will be submitted. The report will also present a site map indicating well locations <br /> and the calculated groundwater gradient direction, tabulated summaries of soil and groundwater <br /> data, groundwater level measurements, well completion and soil boring logs, descriptions of <br /> sampling procedures, and copies of laboratory analysis reports. <br /> Task 5—Provide Project Management <br /> This task includes continued coordination of with All Pure's attorney for obtaining an easement for <br /> access to the Pombo property,responding to letters from the Regional Board,request for attendance <br /> at meetings with All Pure or the Regional Board, or other project management responsibilities. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Field work will commence within four weeks of All Pure Chemical Company completing an access <br /> agreement with Richard Pombo. Drilling and sampling activities will be completed within two and <br /> one-half weeks of commencing the field work. Laboratory analytical results will be completed on a <br /> two-week turnaround and the final report will be submitted to the Regional Board within four <br /> weeks of receiving the results from the laboratory. All Pure Chemical Company will be provided a <br /> draft copy of the report for review and comment prior to submitting the final report to the Regional <br /> Board. <br />
