As 1 discussed with
Mr. Dennis Nakamoto of HL,the work plan is approved if the JbIlowing conditions are met.
I. The deep boring to assess the vertical extent of the shallow aquifer will be drilled at
the same time that the four shallow monitoring wells are installed.
2. The new wells will be sampled at least 48 hours, but no more than two weeks after
well development and then included in each quarterly monitoring event. If a quarterly
monitoring event occurs within two weeks of well development, then the initial
ground water samples may be collected as part of that monitoring event.
3. The ground water investigation report to be submitted following completion of the
laboratory analyses must propose the additional monitoring well(s)necessary to
detetuAne the vertical extent of ground water contamination and complete the
definition of the lateral extent of the shallow ground water contamination,if necessary.
Based on the proposed schedule, the ground water investigation report is due 12 May 1997.
