Chavier:
In accordance with your request, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared the
enclosed Preliminary Site Assessment Report for the site located at 120 South Beekman Road in
Lodi, California.
The objective of the investigation was to determine the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-
impacted soil at the site. The scope of work included the installation of two soil probe borings to a
depth of 25 feet below surface grade (bsg). The work was performed on 29 October 1996. The
location of the site is illustrated on Figure I - Location Map. Structures and the probe boring
locations are shown on Figure 2 -Site Plan.
The site investigation was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services
-Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites.
BACKGROUND
It is our understanding that an under ground storage tank was abandoned by the tank with sand,
therefore closed in place at the site. However, no soil samples were collected during the closure or
was an operating permit issued for the former tank.
1803 West March Lane, Suite A,Stockton,California 95207
Telephone(209)956-0264 FAX(209)956-0700
