Beckman Rd. <br /> Lodi, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received your <br /> letter dated January 8, 2003, regarding the above referenced site. EHD is the <br /> regulatory agency for the oversight of corrective action at leaking underground <br /> storage tank (UST) sites in San Joaquin County. EHD issued a letter requiring <br /> no further action for the underground storage tanks previously operated at this <br /> site. The evaluation is based on the impact or threat of impact to groundwater. If <br /> contaminated soil is encountered during site construction it must be dealt with <br /> appropriately (left in place or disposed of properly) and�written notification "should <br /> be provided to EHD. This authority extends only to co6rtaminatlon from the <br /> UST's.
