Box 2009 I, a <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 Ij <br /> 13 t <br /> Dear Ms. Meays: <br /> Mr, John Stroh of the San Joaquin County Mosquito And Vector Control District has <br /> contracted with us to abandon Pour Monitoring Wells at their facility at 200 North <br /> Beckman Road, Lodi, CA and Three Monitoring Wells at 7759 South Airport Way, <br /> Stockton, CA. i3 <br /> We have been provided with information that they wells�in Lodi and Stockton have <br /> been sampled and are below detection limits for all constituents tested. <br /> I <br /> We request that San Joaquin Valley Environmental health issue us a permit to <br /> abandon the wells at both facilities by using the pressure grouting method. We <br /> propose to do this by placing tremie pipe to the }bottom of each well, pump neat <br /> cement through the tremie pipe until neat cement has 'displaced any water in the <br /> casing or unsaturated cement is to surface, pull the tremie pipe out of the casing, <br /> install a pressure cap on the existing casing and pressure the casing using 15-25 <br /> psi. of air, we will continue to fill the casing as needed until the well bore has taken <br /> the proper amount of cement or will no longer take'cement. <br /> If any of the wells do not meet your criteria for pressure grouting, we request that <br /> instead of over-drilling, to abandon the well, that you allow us to vertically perforate <br /> the well through the intervals that you request, and then'we be allowed to pressure <br /> grout.
