The property to the east of the subject property is a <br /> trucking company. The property to the south is a CalTrans <br /> Maintenance Station. To the west of the subject property, <br /> across North Beckman Road, is State Route 99. To the <br /> northwest of the subject property, across North Beckman Road, <br /> is a Park and Ride loT. <br /> Evidence of past uses? None observed <br /> 6.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 6.1 Interview with Owner / Site Manager <br /> An attempt has been made to obtain historical as well a, current information relative to the <br /> subject property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. The objective of <br /> the interview process is to obtain any information indicating recognized environmental <br /> conditions in connection with the proposed project site. n Environmental Questionnaire and <br /> Disclosure Statement was sent to Eddie Lucchesi of San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector <br /> Control District (MVCD) by NOA with a request to forward the appropriate section to the owner <br /> or key site manager of the subject property for completion. <br /> Eddie Lucchesi completed the owner questionnaire. San Joaquin County MVCD has owned the <br /> property since 1966, prior to that the property was owned by the State of California. The <br /> property contains dry earthen ponds designed to rear mosquito fish. There Is an adjacent gas <br /> station, and hazardous substances and petroleum products have been located on the property <br /> in the past. The site is connected to the public water and sewage system. No wastewater is <br /> generated at the site. Mr. Lucchesi indicated there is a metal building with four offices and two <br /> restrooms on the site. A 2,600 square foot sur port built in 1967 is connected to the office <br /> building, and used as a shop bay. The building has central gas and electricity. <br /> Mr. Luccesi indicated unleaded fuel and mosquito larvicide oil were stored on the site. An <br /> Environmental Health Department Case Closure Summary for the site dated April 7, 1998 was <br /> provided by Mr. Lucessi. This letter indicates that three tanks were removed from the site in <br /> 1986; a 1,000-gallon tank used for gasoline, a 6,500 gallon tank used for weed oil/larvicide, and <br /> a 7,000-gallon tank used for larvicide. Three tanks were additionally listed as active: a 7,000- <br /> gallon tank for larvicide, a 6,000-gallon for weed oil and a 1,000-gallon for unleaded gasoline. <br /> The case was completed, and closed in 1997.
