The bailer used to purge and sample the well was decontaminated prior to use by washing <br /> it in an alconox-water mixture with a stiff bristle brush, rinsing it with potable water and <br /> giving it a final spray rinse with distilled water The well sounding device was <br /> decontaminated in a similar manner prior to first use and between uses at each well The <br /> new thin nylon line used to lower the bailer into the well was disposed of after each use <br /> and not reused Water brought to the surface during the purging process and the water <br /> used for decontamination of equipment was collected in a 55 gallon drum and stored <br /> onsite pending the groundwater analytical results <br /> All water sampling was performed in accordance with WESTON's site-specific health and <br /> safety plan, which was available onsite during field activities A safety meeting was held <br /> with personnel pnor to starting work to review anticipated safety hazards and emergency <br /> procedures The field work for this project was performed under Level D personal <br /> protection <br /> 1 <br />' RPTSlS7CMAP WP OY!]3M2 <br />
