Storm Water Outfalls
The Apache Plastics/Certainteed Storm Water Flow map dated 5/22/2001 shows storm
water interceptor sand/oil haps where the storm water drainage system for the site
collects prior to discharging from the site.
Sa,-e Recommendations
Sage recommends collecting a sediment sample from each of the two (2)traps to
determine whether potential impact from the site is being picked up as storm water drains
across the property and is discharged at the traps. These samples will be analyzed for
pesticides,herbicides,VOCs and TPH-GRO/DRO.
No other issues were noted during Sage's research of the site information that would
require further investigation.
SCHEDULE
After receiving authorization to proceed, we will begin the project work immediately. Sage will
prepare the application for the San Juaquin County Enviromnental Health Department Well &
Boring Permit. Once the permit has been approved (usually within 10 days), Sage will mobilize
to the site and complete the site work within two weeks and complete a draft report within four
weeks of completion of the site work.
Sage will incorporate any comments received from Westlake within 10 work days and issue an
independent, final report in both Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF formats. The report will
include a discussion of the drilling operations, a site map showing the drilling locations, the PID
survey results, the analytical results in a tabular format and the findings presented in a clear and
useful format. All laboratory and analytical work will be performed using standard turnaround
times with no rush results requested.
Prior to mobilization, Sage will prepare a Site Specific Health& Safety Plan (SSHASP) for use
during the site work and will clear underground or embedded utilities at the site by calling the 1-
800 Call Before You Dig and discussing drilling locations with plant personnel.
Westlake Chemical Corporation Lodi-Due Diligence Assessment
5
