According to the data, further <br /> work needs to be done to fully characterize the extent of soil and groundwater contamination. <br /> Continued quarterly sampling of the existing groundwater monitoring wells is needed, and the <br /> monitoring wells no longer being used should be properly abandoned. <br /> By 7 February 1997,please submit a work plan to conduct the additional work discussed in the <br /> memorandum. This should include investigating the western parcel of the site, abandoning old <br /> wells, and redeveloping the useable wells.
