These Reports
were submitted to determine the potential risk and hazard to human health posed by
historical releases from the crude-oil pipeline operations.
DTSC's Human and Ecological Risk Office (HERO) has reviewed these Reports and
provided comments in a Memorandum (enclosed). The HERO Memorandum provides
calculated screening-level risks and presents a synopsis of the methods and
uncertainties.
After you review HERO's Memorandum, DTSC suggests that a meeting or
teleconference call be arranged to discuss an approach to address the comments,
recommendations and conclusions found in the Memorandum.
® Printed on Recycled Paper
i
