AND <br /> BEECHNUT RD, TRACY, CA <br /> A review of the attached "Soil Excavation and Disposal Plan" <br /> indicates a potential for emitting a significantly large amount of air <br /> pollutants. Although, average concentration for the entire 50,000 <br /> yd3 of soil is not given, based on the worst case concentration, up to <br /> 357 tons of volatile organicsand 3617 tons of semivolatile organics <br /> may be emitted. Of the volatile organic emissions, up to 31 tons will <br /> be benzene emissions. <br /> In order to avoid adverse air quality impact, the disposal must be <br /> controlled. A "Risk Assessment Analysis" pursuant to the guidelines <br /> established by EPA must be conducted before the APCD can authorize the <br /> above project. <br /> i <br />
