The Workplan was prepared for ChevronTexaco by Geomatrlx Consultants, Inc. <br /> According to previous investigation reports conducted at the property,petroleum hydrocarbons have <br /> impacted soil and groundwater onsite. Based on the most recent groundwater to the north (offsitereport,the <br /> extent of impacted groundwater has not been delineated downgradient <br /> The Workplan proposes to advance four soil borings offsite, two the borings is to delineate the lateral <br /> ithin 91h Street and two on a nearby <br /> commercial property, downgradient of the property. Thepurpose <br /> extent of impacted groundwater downgradient(north). Depending on the results of the field work, <br /> additional borings, monitoring wells, and soil and groundwater sampling may be required to assess the <br /> lateral extent of impacts to soil and groundwater. <br /> We concur with the proposed Workplan for the 990 Beechnut property, dated 28 May 2004.
