This <br /> revised work plan includes a proposal to install seven deep groundwater monitoring wells at the <br /> subject site. <br /> RESPONSE TO COMMENTS <br /> Prior to presenting the work plan, there are some comments in the two SJCPHS/EHD letters <br /> (dated February 4,2002 and Much 13,2002)that warrant discussion. <br /> Vertical Delineation:SJCPHS/EHD required in their Much 13,2002 letter that all soil samples <br /> be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline(TPHg),total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as diesel(TPHd), benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene, and xylenes(BTEX), seven oxygenates,and <br /> lead scavengers. Our January 11,2002 Site Investigation Report&Work Plan concluded that we <br /> have achieved vertical and lateral soil delineation at this site,and SJCPHS/EHD agreed with this <br /> and. CA conclusion in their February 4, 2002 letter to Equiva.
