CAMBRIA
Joseph so e'
et al May 8, 1998
3121 West Benjarnin Holt Drive
Stockton, California gHolt
5212
Re: Ground Water Investigation
Shell Service Station
3011 West Benjamin Holt Drive
Stockton, California
Dear Joseph Risso, et al:
Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc, (Cambria) on behalf of Shell Oil Products Company
(Shell), requests permission to access your property at 3121 West Benjamin Holt Drive, in
Stockton California for the purpose of installing a ground water monitoring well as part of a site
investigation requested by San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS).
Shell operates a service station at 3011 West Benjamin Holt Drive adjacent to your property.
SJCPHS has requested additional ground water monitoring wells be installed as part of an
ongoing site investigation at the Shell site. At this point in the investigation the next logical
location for one of our monitoring wells is to the north of the Shell site - on your property.
Cambria has proposed the installation of one ground water monitoring well along your eastern
property line in the parking lot area area (Plate 1).
Just to give you an idea what is involved with installation of a ground water monitoring well, it
will take approximately 4 hour to complete the work. Once the well has been installed, it will be
contained in a 12-inch round vault box set flush to the ground surface.
Prior to installation of ground water monitoring wells on properties other than Shell's, it is
CAMBRIA Shell's standard practice to secure a Right of Entry Agreement with the property owner.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Enclosed is Shell's standard Right of Entry agreement for your review. If it is acceptable, please
sign both copies and return them to our office. Shell will then sign the agreements and one fully
TECHNOLOGY,INC. executed copy will be returned to you.
270 PERRINS STREET,
P.O.Box 259
50NOMA,
"A 95476
(70719354&%
Ax:(707)9356649
