(Cambria) prepared this work plan on behalf of <br /> Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) to further assess the extent of <br /> gasoline constituents in groundwater northwest of the site as requested in San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) letter dated September 7, 2004. In addition to the <br /> request for additional assessment, SJCEHD is requiring a change to the quarterly groundwater <br /> analytical program for the site. The proposed scope of work presented in this document will <br /> comply with SJCEHD and Regional Water Quality Control Board guidelines. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description: The site is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of West <br /> Benjamin Holt Drive and Interstate 5 in a commercial area of Stockton, California (Figures 1 <br /> and 2). The site is an inactive service station with a layout including a station building, and two <br /> dispenser islands. The underground fuel storage tanks (USTs) were removed from this site <br /> during November 2004. Cambria is currently preparing a report documenting these UST <br /> removal activities. <br /> Site History: Details of previous investigation activities performed at this site are documented in <br /> Cambria's August 16,2004 site investigation report. <br /> SAMPLING/ANALYTICAL PROGRAM <br /> Cambria <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology,Inc.
