I have received preliminary verbal results from Earth Technology which indicate a lower
level of volatile hydrocarbons present in the water samples collected from the BAT probes than
those collected from the monitoring wells. Earth Technology is proposing a lab study to determine
whether the lower levels are due to headspace volatilization induced by the vacuum sampling
methodology. As results become available,I will certainly pass the information along to you.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at(415) 842-8658.
Sincerely,
Clint B.
