Analytical results reported
low levels of contamination in the groundwater across the Chevron site to the north, and
decreasing concentrations centered around monitoring well E-10 on the ARCO site to the south. j
In the Report Stantec recommends that continuing decreasing contaminant concentrations
indicate the site could be considered for closure.
Please provide a comprehensive closure summary report that includes the flowing:
1. A calculation of contaminant mass remaining in both soil and groundwater.
2. A prediction of how long (in years) it will be until the dissolved contaminant
concentrations reach water quality goals.
3. An evaluation of the potential threat from vapor intrusion from the remaining
contamination in both soil and groundwater.
4. Confirmation that a sensitive receptor survey has been completed, and
5. All other requirements of the Tri-Regional Guidelines Appendix A.
If you have any questions please contact Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337 or by email at
Iduncan(d),sicehd.com.
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
