A sample is considered to be under custody if: <br /> 0 It is in actual possession of the responsible person <br /> a It is in view, following physical possession <br /> o It is in the possession of a responsible person and is locked or sealed to <br /> prevent tampering <br /> o It is in a secure area. <br /> 3.2 CHAIN-OF-CUSTODY RECORD <br /> Sample custody is maintained by a "Chain-of-Custody Record." The custody record is <br /> completed by the individual designated by the Project Manager as being responsible for <br /> r- <br /> sample shipment.
