The vicinity map for the Site is presented in F:4ure 2. To the northeast of the site,across <br /> Plymouth Avenue,is the Swenson Park golf course. Behind the site,directly to the north,arc several <br /> small businesses. Three other service stations are.in the ti.nity of the site,including an active Arco <br /> sc-"ce station located to the south of the site across Benjamin Holt Drive,a Shell service station located <br /> to the west of the site on the other side of the Interstate-5 freeway,and an E On station locatrd to the <br /> southwest of thea site across the Interstate-5 freeway. <br /> Iu May 1984,Arco reported a gasoline spill at their station across from the Chevron site. The <br /> release was estimated at between 2,000 gallons and 3,500 gallons. A subsurface investigation was <br /> conducted by Gettler-Ryan, Inc. of Hayward and Emcou Associates of San Jose, California, which <br /> .f <br />
