Re: Quarterly Groundwater Sampling <br /> -_ Chevron Service Station #94275 <br /> Stockton,California <br /> WGR Job#1-103.06 <br /> Dear Mr.Randall: SEP21 '89 H411. <br /> H <br /> This letter report presents the results of the groundwater sampling performed in June 1989 by <br /> Western Geologic Resources,lnr:- (WGR)at the Chevron service station #94275,]oeatcd at 2905 W. <br /> Tj Benjawin Holt Drive,Stockton,California(Figure 1). <br /> As requested,the following work was performed: <br /> i 1) Take depth-to-water,depth-to-liquid hydrocarbon, liquid-hydrocarbon thickness and <br /> well-bore volume measurements in the ten groundwater monitor wells and produce <br /> a potentiometric surface contour:nap based on the liquid-Ievel measurements; <br /> 2) Collett groundwater samples from the wells for analyses of total purgeable petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons(TPPH),aromatic hydrocarbons includingbenzene,toluene,ethylbenzene, <br /> and to al xylenes (BTEX) and halo:arbons by EPA Me'shod 8260, and produce ! <br /> isoconccntration maps of TPPH and benzene in the shallow water-bearing zone; <br /> 3) Update the database for wale r-level/liquid hydrocarbon-level measuremento and <br /> groundwater chemistry data;and <br /> =� 4) Review results and prepare a report of the investigation. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located on the corner of Benjamin Holt Avenue and Plymouth?oad in Stockton, <br /> California. The vicinity map for the site is prasemcd in Figure 2. To the northeast of the site,across <br /> Plymouth Avenue,is the Swenson Park golf course. Behind the site,directly to the north,are several <br /> ` small businesses. Three other service'stations are in the vicinity of the site including an active Arco <br /> tr service station located to the south of the site across Ben Holt Drive,a Shell service station located to <br /> the west of the site on the other side of Interstate-5 Freeway, and an Eason station located to the <br /> southwest of the site across the Interstate-5 Freeway. <br /> _ b <br />
