Chevron Products Company 2
Chevron Service Station#9-4275.2905 Benjamin}dolt Drive,Stockton,CA April 13,2001
. Air Sparging System
The AS system is comprised of nine AS wells GM-1 through GM-9 and a 1.5-h
Y P
E g ) P
rotary vane compressor. The AS system alternately injects air into wells GM-1 through
GM-5 and wells GM-6 through GM-9.
During the reporting period, the AS system was 63% operational. The AS system
operated at a flow rate of 13.4 cfm and an injection pressure of 9.4 pounds per square
inch gauge (psig). Remedial system field data sheets are presented in attachment A. Air
sparge operational data, including flow rate and applied pressure data, are presented in
Table 1.
Dissolved oxygen (DO) concentrations were not measured during the first quarter, 2001
monitoring and sampling event but will be recorded during future monitoring events.
Historical DO concentrations are summarized in Table 2.
Conclusions
The SVE system will remain shutdown until water levels drop to expose a sufficient
length of screen in the SVE wells. The AS system will continue to be operated to inject
air into the groundwater and provide oxygen for biodegradation.
If you have any questions or require additional information, contact Scott Gable at (916)
861-0400 X 231 or Mr. Robert Cochran at (925) 842-9655.
Sincerely,
SECOR International Incorporated
Greg McIver)
Project Scientist
l
Cott Gable
Senior Geologist
Attachments: Table 1 - Air Sparge System Operational Data
Table 2 - Dissolved Oxygen Well Concentrations (mg/L)
Figure 1 - Site Location Map
Figure 2 - Site Plan
Attachment A—Remedial System Field Data Sheets
cc: Ms. Ldri Duncan; San Joaquin Environmental Health Department
'Mr. Mark List,Regional Water Quality Control Board
1AChevronk942751Periodic Monitoring12001 O&M19-4275 O&M EQ01 Report.doc
