Products Company <br /> 2410 Camino Ramon <br /> San Ramon, CA 94583-0804 <br /> RE QUARTERLY MONITORING AND SAMPLING ACTIVITIES <br /> CHEVRON SERVICE STATION NO. 9-4275 <br /> 2805 WEST BENJAMIN HOLT DRIVE <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> Dear Mr Hunter <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc submits this letter as a summary of quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> and sampling data collected at the above-referenced site on August 5, 1993 The seven site-related <br /> groundwater monitoring wells were gauged to determine depth to groundwater (DTW) and to check <br /> for the presence of separate-phase petroleum hydrocarbons In response to a request from <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, groundwater monitoring was coordinated <br />. with the consultant for the adjacent ARCO site (Brown & Caldwell) A potentiometnc surface <br /> map (Figure 1) and a summary of groundwater monitoring data (Table 1) are included After <br /> measuring DTW, each monitoring well was purged and sampled The groundwater samples were <br /> analyzed for dissolved benzene, toluene, ethyibenzene and xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (TPH-G) Results of the chemical analyses are summarized in Table 1 <br /> Laboratory reports and chain-of-custody manifests are Included in Attachment I All purge water <br /> generated during the sampling process was collected in a Department of Transportation <br /> (DOT)-approved purge water trailer and transported for recycling to the Chevron refinery in <br /> Richmond, Caldomia <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc is pleased to assist Chevron on this project If you have any <br /> questions or comments please call our West Sacramento office <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc.
