Mail <br /> Attn:Richard O.Bywater <br /> P.O.Box 31600 ®Cr ® � 2007Stockton, California 95213 <br /> '1 <br /> RE: Complaint(complaint ID: CO 0027063)regarding unsealed well located at: <br /> 3132 Farmington Rd.,Stockton,California 95205 APN(s): 173-060-02 <br /> On September 28,2007 the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)received a complaint <br /> stating that an open well exists on the parcel located on 3132 Farmington Road. This is a violation of the following <br /> County Codes/Regulations: <br /> 1. San Joaquin County Development Title 9,Section 9-1115.6 and San Joaquin County well standards,:I <br /> Section 4.9.1,4.9.2: <br /> After construction of a well,or before pump is installed,or while repairs are being made,or if for <br /> any other reason the top of the well casing is exposed,it must be protected from foreign objects or <br /> contamination entering the well by use of a seal or cover. <br /> The cover shall be water tight and held in place in such a manner that it cannot be removed except <br /> by equipment or tools. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Development Title 9, Section 9-1115, this department has the. <br /> authority to: issue an administrative order requiring the owner to take corrective action as necessary to <br /> abate a nuisance, cease and desist any improper action, and establish a time schedule according to which <br /> the site shall be brought into compliance. <br /> i <br /> Effective Immediately: <br /> Obtain a well_pump permit from the Environmental Health Department located at 600 E. Main Street' <br /> Stockton. <br /> Have well properly sealed to prevent contaminants from entering water supply. <br /> { <br /> Note: A follow—up inspection will be performed. <br /> The above noted violation must be fully abated within thirty (30)days from the receipt of this notice.
