The sites involved in the plume include:
Chevron Products Company BP West Coast Products Company,Assignee
2905 Benjamin Holt give 2908 Benjamin Holt Drive
Stockton Stockton
Both sites have been confirmed as contributors to the subject commingled plume. Each joint claimant
listed above has been identified as an eligible claimant. The total reimbursement for the plume will be
$3 million less collective deductibles. The commingled plume was confirmed by San Joaquin County
Environmental Health in a letter dated October 11, 2001.
As I understand, little coordinated corrective action has taken place to date. Chevron and BP West
Coast(formerly ARCO)are now jointly conducting groundwater monitoring sampling. Both sites are
active service stations and have been conducting corrective action at their respective sites for many
years. According to my conversation with.you,Chevron has both a Soil Vapor Extraction and Air
Sparge Treatment on site. DP West Coast has shut down both a groundwater extraction system and Soil
Vapor Extraction system based on the systems ineffectiveness, Currently,BP West Coast has an Air
Sparge Treatment on site. According to our conversation on September 9,2003 the responsible parties
are in.corrective action compliance with their individual sites,
The Commingled Plume Program requires that the joint claimants coordinate their corrective action.
Once the claim receives a Letter of Commitment, the Fund will require coordinated corrective action.
NOTE: Joint claimants that do not coordinate their corrective action will have their Letter of
Commitment withdrawn,
The Fund is requesting corrective action compliance signoff from the Los Angeles Regional Water
Quality Control Board, Verify compliance by signing in the signature block below:
Joint claimants for CP0034 arc in corrective action compliance
q icsi -f S /l b
Signature Title Date
C.41iforwa En vJrowme&a1 Prntectloo AyBc,y
- i2ecyrled paper .
