This site has made
application to the State Water Resources Control Board Clean Up Fund to obtain a co-mingled plume
status with the LUFT site across the street to the north, a Chevron station. To enable a comparative
review of these two sites, please have all future quarterly groundwater monitoring samples collected
from this site analyzed by EPA Method 8260 for TPHg, BTEX, all five fuel oxygenates,
1,2-dichloroethane and ethylene dibromide.
Monitoring well E-8, which is located in the traffic lanes of Plymouth Road, has not been monitored or
sampled since June 2002, due to the repaving of the road. You are directed to locate this well
immediately, repair it if necessary and include it in all future quarterly groundwater monitoring and
sampling events.
Laboratory analytical results for this site are not being electronically submitted to GeoTracker, the
State Water Resources Control Board database program, in a timely manner. Water Code Section
13196, California Code of Regulations Section 2729.1, commonly referred to as AB2886, requires this.
Electronic transmission of laboratory analytical results to GeoTracker must be updated immediately.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
(/vm-
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Margaret gorio, Supero HS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV
cc: James Barton, CVRWQCB
Rusty Benkosky, SECOR
