Sidewalks and asphalt roadway were cleaned with <br /> penctone.Approximately b drums of contaminated dirt was remove and taken to their consolidation site <br /> located on West Lane in Stockton. <br /> Thuy Trina of the E 0 investigated the spill site and met John Holiday representing PG&E on February <br /> 23,2011.W.Holiday was onsite to take samples after the clean up had occurred.Test results found that <br /> the highest concentration teas 2.9 part per million of PCB which was along the fence line of the vacant lot. <br /> Further investigation is needed to confirta the transfarmcr oil was not released to surroundiirg environment <br /> and that clean up is adequate. <br /> Violation: As of this date,the PG&E has not taken any corrective actions to investigate the spill from the <br /> transformer at the site. Please be advised that disposal of hazardous waste at an unauthorized point is <br /> a violation of Health and Safety Code§25189.5. <br /> Corrective Action: As the transformer oil spill tvas not abated as part of emergeney response <br /> actions,the EHD is referring the oversight of the investigation and cleanup to the Department of <br /> Toide Substances Control(DTSC)and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB). <br />
