�b T B R O W N A N D ENVIRONHENTAL HEALTH C A L D W E L L P=MN J SERVICE 95 MAY 16 AM 11: 21 May 15, 1995 Mr. Kyle Christie ARCO Products Company 2155 South Bascom Avenue, Suite 202 Campbell, California 95008 017-2060-01/1 Subject First 1995 Quarterly Report for ARCO Facility 2133, 2908 Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton, California, Site Code 1021 Dear Mr Christie This report presents water-level measurements and results of groundwater sampling performed during the first quarter of 1995 at ARCO Products Company (ARCO) Facility 2133, located at 2908 Benjamin Holt Drive in Stockton, California. Fieldwork was performed by EMCON Associates (EMCON) on March 8, 1995 This report was prepared under Task Order 2133-95-5 . There are eleven on-site groundwater monitonng wells (E-2 through E-6, E-9 through E-12, MW-1, and MW-2), nine off-site groundwater monitoring wells (E-7, E-8, PR-1, PR-2, BHD-1, BHD-2, and MW-3 through MW-5) and one on-site groundwater extraction well (R) as shown on Figure 1 In addition, there are 12 soil vapor extraction wells (V-1 through V- 12) and nine air sparging wells (S-1 through S-9) on-site Wells V-9/S-7 and V-10/S-8 are constructed as dual-completion wells Field and Analytical Methods EMCON personnel measured depth-to-water and product thickness (when present), purged each well to be sampled, and collected groundwater samples at the site Depth-to-water measurements and a check for free product were made prior to purging Before sampling, the wells were purged of a minimum of three well casing volumes or until evacuated using a submersible pump or bailer After purging, each well was sampled using a disposable bailer Field data sheets and chairs-of-custody documentation are included in Exhibit A All groundwater samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G) by U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 5030/8020, and 8015 Modified This report was prepared an accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time at was prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental contamination beyond that described an this report exists at the site Environmental Engineering And ConsLiNfog Analytical Services 466 WCRf7V AettiEIE $LITE 606 $ 1CR,t%tEVTO CA 9821 2621 206U\RFP0RTS\1 Sn5QTR.RPT (916) 444 0123 FAX (916) 856 X277
