Fieldwork was performed by EMCON <br /> Associates (EMCON) on March 8, 1995 This report was prepared under Task Order <br /> 2133-95-5 <br />. There are eleven on-site groundwater monitonng wells (E-2 through E-6, E-9 through E-12, <br /> MW-1, and MW-2), nine off-site groundwater monitoring wells (E-7, E-8, PR-1, PR-2, <br /> BHD-1, BHD-2, and MW-3 through MW-5) and one on-site groundwater extraction well (R) <br /> as shown on Figure 1 In addition, there are 12 soil vapor extraction wells (V-1 through V- <br /> 12) and nine air sparging wells (S-1 through S-9) on-site Wells V-9/S-7 and V-10/S-8 are <br /> constructed as dual-completion wells <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> EMCON personnel measured depth-to-water and product thickness (when present), purged <br /> each well to be sampled, and collected groundwater samples at the site Depth-to-water <br /> measurements and a check for free product were made prior to purging <br /> Before sampling, the wells were purged of a minimum of three well casing volumes or until <br /> evacuated using a submersible pump or bailer After purging, each well was sampled using <br /> a disposable bailer Field data sheets and chairs-of-custody documentation are included in <br /> Exhibit A All groundwater samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and <br /> xylenes (BTEX) and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G) by U.S <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 5030/8020, and 8015 Modified <br /> This report was prepared an accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time at was <br /> prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described an this report exists at the site <br /> Environmental Engineering And ConsLiNfog Analytical Services <br /> 466 WCRf7V AettiEIE $LITE 606 $ 1CR,t%tEVTO CA 9821 2621 206U\RFP0RTS\1 Sn5QTR.RPT <br /> (916) 444 0123 FAX (916) 856 X277 <br />
