Figure 1 is a site location map <br /> The San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (County) <br /> requested an investigation at this site to define the extent of the hydrocarbons off-site to the <br /> south and southwest of the facility This work was authorized by ARCO Task order <br /> 2133-94-2 BC prepared and submitted a work plan on December 6, 1994 to the County. <br /> Included with the work plan were County well permit applications The work plan and well <br /> permits were approved by the County Appendix A of this report contains the monitoring <br /> well permits Appendix B of this report contains a copy of BC's December 6, 1994, work <br /> plan. Monitoring well MW-5 was installed in Caltrans right-of-way Prior to installation, a <br /> Caltrans encroachment permit was obtained by BC A copy of the Caltrans encroachment <br /> permit is included with this report as Appendix C Off-site access was also obtained from the <br /> Village Green Owners Association (Association) for the installation of monitoring wells <br /> MW-3 and MW-4 A copy of the access agreement between the Association and ARCO is <br /> included with this report as Appendix D. <br /> Background <br /> There are eleven on-site groundwater monitoring wells (E-2 through E-12, MW-1, and MW-2) <br /> and nine off-site groundwater monitoring wells (BHD-1, BHD-2, PR-1, PR-2, E-7, E-8, and <br /> MW-3 through MW-5), including the monitoring wells installed during this phase of <br /> investigation There are ten on-site soil vapor extraction wells (V-1 through V-8, V-11, and <br /> V-12), six on-site air sparging wells (S-1 through S-6), and two on-site dual completion Foil <br /> vapor extraction/air sparge wells (V-9/S-7 and V-l0/S-8) All of the groundwater monitoring <br /> wells are purged and sampled on a quarterly basis Figure 2 is a site map showing the <br /> locations of all of the wells. <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site <br /> Environmental Engineenng And Consulting Analytical services <br /> 96 16 M I C R o N A v F N u E P 4 Box 13 4 4 9 S NCRAMENTO CA 95 8 13 T44F4HP0RTS\WELLNS71_RPr <br /> (9161444 0173 F%xf9161 856 5277 <br />
