r <br /> n <br /> AB R 0 W NVIRON NTAL HEAI_Th <br /> 10 PFRTI SERVICE <br /> C A L D W E L L <br /> 95 ,JAN 12 PN 2' 06 <br /> January 11, 1995 <br /> Mr Kyle Christie <br /> ARCO Products Company <br /> Post Office Box 5811 <br /> San Mateo, California 94402 017-1273-0111 <br /> Subject Third 1994 Quarterly Report for ARCO Facility 2133, <br /> 2908 Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton, California, Site Code 1021 <br /> Dear Mr Chnstie <br /> This report presents water-level measurements, results of groundwater sampling, and <br /> summarizes the status of the groundwater extraction system (GWES) for the third quarter of <br /> 1994 at ARCO Products Company kARCO) Facility 2133 located at 2908 Benjamin Holt <br /> Drive in Stockton, California The fieldwork was performed on September 29, 1994, by <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc (GTI) Fieldwork for the operation and maintenance of the <br /> GWES was conducted by Brown and Caldwell (BC) This report was prepared under Task <br /> Order 2133-94-5 <br /> There is one groundwater extraction well (R) on site There are eleven on-site groundwater <br /> monitoring wells (E-2 through E-6, E-9 through E-12, and MW-1 and MW-2), and six off-site <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (E-7, E-8, PRA, PR-2, BHD-1, and BHD-2) (Figure 1) In <br /> addition, 12 soil vapor extraction wells (V-1 through V-12) and nine air sparging wells (S-1 <br /> through S-9) are also located on-site Wells V-9/S-7 and V-10/S-8 are constructed as dual <br /> completion wells Wells V-8 through V-12, S-7 through S-9, and SP-1 were installed in <br /> August 1994 All groundwater monitoring wells were sampled during. this quarterly sampling <br /> event, except E-2 and MW-2 because both were covered with a soil pile <br /> During,, September, 1994, BC supervised the construction of a soil vapor extraction (SVE)lair <br /> sparging (AS) system The system incorporates all of the SVE wells, the AS wells, and <br /> monitoring well E-6 Construction of the SVE/AS system required a temporary shutdown of <br /> the GWES <br /> 03E) <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the tune it was <br /> prepared Ir should nor be relied upon by parties other than chose for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> event of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination bevond that described in this report erists at the site <br /> Env ronmental Engmeerrrg And Consulting Analyacai seances <br /> 12731REP0RTS0RD943QTR RPT <br /> 9616 MICRON -k E%L E P 0 B o\ 1 ,449 S %CRkMET CA 93813 3449 <br /> (916) 444 0 12 3 Fey {916) 8)6 >277 <br />
