This work was
performed during the second quarter of 1994 at ARCO Products Company (ARCO) Station
2133 located at 2908 Benjamin Holt Drive in Stockton, California The field work for the
quarterly groundwater sampling was performed on June 27, 1994, by Groundwater
Technology, Inc (GTI) Field work for the operation and maintenance of the GWES was
. conducted by Brown and Caldwell. This report was prepared under Task Order 2133-94-5
There is one groundwater extraction well (R) on site There are eleven on-site groundwater
monitoring wells (E-2 through E-6, E-9 through E-12, and MW-1 and MW-2), and six off-site
groundwater monitoring wells (E-7, E-8, PR-1, PR-2, BHD-1, and BHD-2) (Figure 1). In
addition, seven soil vapor extraction wells (V-1 through V-7) and six air sparging wells (S-1
through S-6) were installed in October 1993 (also shown on Figure 1 ) All groundwater
monitoring wells were sampled during the quarterly sampling event.
Quarterly Sampling Field and Analytical Methods
GTI personnel measured depth-to-water, purged each well, and collected groundwater samples
at the site. A copy of GTI's field notes is included in Exhibit A The purge water generated
during this sampling event was temporarily stored on site in 55-gallon barrels then transported
off site by Integrated Waste Management.
All groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G)
and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by U S Environmental Protection
—` Agency Methods 5030/8020/DHS LUFT
N
This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was
prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the
extent of the scope of work which was authorized Thus report does not guarantee that no additional environmental
contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site
Fnvvonmental Engineering And Consulting Analytical Seances
9616 titICRoN A%F%UE P 0 Box 13449, SACRAMENTO CA 95813 31JWP0RTS\M94QTR.RPT
(916) 444 0123 FAX (916) 856 5277
