SECTION 5
CONCLUSIONS AND FIGURES
During this site investigation, three (3) soil borings were drilledto 25 feet bgs and
each were converted to monitoring wells designed to monitor the free water table. Water
levels were measured and a groundwater gradient established. Soil samples were taken
from each boring and one sample p per well was analyzed for TPH and BT`FX. Water
samples were taken from each well and were also analyzed for TPH and BTBX. No
floating product was found in any of the wells.
A summary of findings from this site investigation are as follows:
Groundwater flow direction at the site is to the northeast(Figure 6).
• Samples from Well MW-2, downgradient of the pumps islands, contain the
;z ltd following concentrations: 760 ppb (water) benzene; 2000 ppb (soil) and 40 ppb
L` (water) ethylbenzene; 50 ppb (water) toluene; 5000 ppb (soil) and 110 ppb(water)
xylenes; and 1500 ppm (soil)TPH.
p
• Soil and groundwater samples from Wells MW-1 and MW-3 showed non-
detectable limits of TPH and BTEX, except for 12
P pprn TPH in soilfrom Well
-f; MW-1.
f Na free product was detected in any of the monitoring wells.
a
5-1
i 175-07.85 484191
