Therefore, the EHD directs: 4. Implementation of the pilot test by 01 February 2012. The remediation of impacted soil and/or groundwater should not be implemented before the crawl space mitigation has been started in case remediation exacerbates vapor migration; therefore the deadline for implementation of remediation may be postponed if necessary to accommodate mitigation. The EHD is continuing to review this site to identify appropriate actions to be taken in view of the risk and hazard represented by the impacted air in the crawl space beneath the residence and expects to issue additional directives as needed.
