The following is a brief summary:
1-25-12 baseline sampling event for metals and ions
• 08-2-12 baseline sampling for volatile organics
9-5-12 through 9-11-12 ISCO injections in 6 borings — Injection event#1
• 9-17-12 post-injection sampling event#1
• 10-1-12 through 10-5-12 ISCO injections in 6 borings — Injection event#2
10-08-12 post-injection sampling event#2
10-29 and 10-30-12 attempt ISCO in 3 borings (Injection #3); could only inject a minimal
amount of product due to the ground being saturated.
November 2012 allowing the ISCO injected during events 1 and 2 to react and
dissipate.
The plan was to re-attempt injection event#3 in December. However, after generating the billing
for the injection events and sampling events we found that we were over the allocated budget
(approx. $8,000.00 over); at that point, Advanced Geo Environmental (AGE) had to stop all work
associated with the site. AGE did anticipate the costs and a budget change order request was
submitted in August 2012, with the hope it would be approved before the end of the year.
However, as you are probably aware, budget change order approvals are just starting to filter in
2/13/2013
