Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2012 4:49 PM
To: 'bmillman@advgeoenv.com'
Subject: RE: LOP Site Updates, Scheduling, and Inquiries
Brian,
Nuel Henderson begins his vacation tomorrow and he will return on August 6th. I spoke to Nuel briefly about
collecting an air sample from the mitigation system PVC riser. Nuel said that he needs more time than he has
now to make such a decision. Since he has not approved the collection of an air sample from the PVC riser, I
think it best not to do this.
Nuel did approve the collection of air samples from the crawl space using Summa canisters once the mitigation
system has been in operation. Specifically, Nuel has approved collecting air samples after six and twelve months
of operating the mitigation system. Nuel would like to review and evaluate the data from these two events before
deciding if additional crawl space samples are necessary.
Have a wonderful vacation!
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-9852
Email: vmccartneyna sicehd.com
From: Brian Millman [mailto:bmillman@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2012 3:32 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: RE: LOP Site Updates, Scheduling, and Inquiries
Hi Vicki,
Yes, I was planning the week of August 20th. And I will be on vacation next week, so I will submit
the boring permit application and fees to your office the week of August 6th. I will try and get them
in by Monday or Tuesday so you have a day or two to approve them before your vacation. We
will try and work to fit all the preparation in between our vacations and if doesn't work we will start
the following week in August.
Keith should be on-site on 02 August 2012 between 8:30-9:00 am for the sampling event.
Just to clarify about the air sampling:
1) Now that the mitigation system is operational we are approved to collect indoor and
ambient air samples every six months, meaning since the system went online in late June
we should schedule indoor and ambient air sampling for late December 2012? And then 6
months later?
2) Approval for crawl space sampling, are you referring to an air sample collected from the
7/26/2012
