I called CHP and spoke with officer Steel regarding incident#219 on May 2017. 1 asked Officer steel what he he is seeing at scene and he siad the white powder has worked its way to the shoulder. I asked officer Steel if he though it was safe to leave the material there until tomorrow. I said he did see a problem with that. He said the substance was a white granular pellets. Steel estimated a couple gallons were spilled on the shoulder of the road way. 05/18/2017 1 went out on the spill of the unknown white material spilled on the side of the road PE 2548 LOEHRER 210 min way. I let valley corn know I was responding to abandoned material on the side of SC 004 the road way. I let valley com know I was on scene. I took pictures of the spill. I swept up the spilled material and put it in a 5 gallon bucket. I then transported to HHW. 05/19/2017 Robert helped me hazcat the white granular substance. We had to stop because PE 2548 LOEHRER 90 min there was no coper wire to do the coper wire test. SC 004 07/19/2017 Jamie helped me use the hazmat 360 ID. The material has been determined to be PE 2548 LOEHRER 120 min Urea witch is the main ingredient in several fertilizes. I filled out the public waste SC 004 pick up form and put on shelf. 07/19/2017 Completed map, photo template, log 2 narratives and submitted all paperwork to PE 2548 LOEHRER 30 min my supervisor for review.
